James T Property Ltd is a home-buying company that helps homeowners throughout the UK by paying fair market value for their residences, quickly and efficiently. The firm engaged BONB Creative & Design to create a sleek, contemporary brand identity.

We began by learning about James T Property’s business model, vision, and values, then used what we learned to perform a deep brand analysis designed to set the firm apart on the strength of its own character. The resulting solution emphasised service, honesty, experience, responsibility, and kindness.

We sought to create a timeless brand with a logo that symbolises a stack of properties and visual vocabulary that distinguished James T Property from its competitors. The clean, spare typographic language we developed can easily be applied to any brand asset. Along with the overall visual identity, we designed a letterhead, digital brochures, social media marketing templates, and the firm’s website.

Client:

Based in North Chingford, Ashgrove Computing have been selling, repairing and servicing all types of computer equipment and providing IT-related support and services including training, upgrades and installation for business and residential customers for over 30 years.

Objective:

We were approached by Ashgrove Computing to create an ad representing their services by achieving a visual language that could unify the professionalism and experience with the artistic aspect.

Solution:

We developed a clean and eye-catchy visual language that would represent the services’ honesty and its purpose. The development was executed with respect and care towards its elements

Client

I&C Textile are a London-based textile consultancy firm, made up of dedicated textile professionals and engineers, providing expert consultation services for textile companies, as well as sourcing high-quality textiles from around the world for UK companies.

Objective

The client asked us to design a high quality, attractive website, as well as to design a professional and stylish letterhead for business use.

Solution

For the website, we designed a clean, clear and slick-looking site that gives relevant information up front, provides a clear and effective user journey, and is eye-catching and attractive. We used imagery that evokes the textile business and tells the story of the textile consultancy, but that is not obstructive or obtrusive, and does not overwhelm the bold text or the message.

For the letterhead, we decided to keep things as simple as possible, designing something that was professional, stylish and minimalist, while also being capable of catching the recipient’s attention, and promoting the brand effectively.

Catalogue for Cosmos Catering

COSMOS CATERING

Client

Cosmos Catering is a family-owned business based in Basildon, Essex. They are the suppliers of meat, poultry, fruit and vegetables, along with chilled and frozen food, beverages and cleaning supplies.

Objective

The client asked us to design a menu for their restaurants, and a catalogue and promotional leaflet for their range of catering services and solutions.

Solution

Cosmos Catering aim to convey a friendly, fun and enthusiastic approach. We wanted to develop a design scheme that could be transmitted across all print materials, which was in line with their ethos and approach.

We kept the menu, the leaflet and the catalogue as uncluttered as possible, and used images of food and beverages sparingly as highlights, rather than as the main focus of the materials. Given the nature of the bricks-and-mortar establishments in particular, we added a very subtle hint of ‘classic retro diner’ style to the designs, aimed at evoking feelings of nostalgia and great customer service.

The overall effect was pleasingly clear, engaging and readable, with the colour scheme drawing the reader’s attention, and the combination of logo and detailing evoking the high quality nature of the products and services.

WEB BANNER DESIGN

Our web banner designs which have been used for NTV radio programs including TV recommendation shows, jazz shows, topical comedy shows and a show on famous Turkish actresses. Web banners are smaller, and are therefore bolder, brighter and more attention-grabbing, encouraging internet users to explore further.

TITLE SEQUENCES FOR NTVSPOR

NTVSpor is the sports division of the Turkish television channel NTV, dedicated to producing sports programming 24 hours a day.

As BONB we were responsible for the concept creation and designs for the title sequences of all sports programs.

We designed style-frames which played on the typography of the word ‘sport’ and included images of athletes.

The bold graphics helped grab the audience’s attention and evoked drama and action, creating the perfect introduction to the shows.

Since 2008, the ‘NTV Green Screen’, NTV’s series of environmental programmes, has dominated their summer lineup.

This project calls attention to environmental problems and raises public awareness on related issues, responding to questions and correcting common misunderstandings about “green” issues.

Included in this programming are NTV infographic ‘fillers’, covering topics relevant to daily life.

Our infographic-style frame designs were used for the filler on “Teeth Whitening” and “Water”.

LOCAL ELECTIONS OPENING TITLE

LOCAL ELECTIONS

In the run-up to the Turkish local elections, NTV, a Turkish national news channel, broadcast a program about the previous year’s election campaigns.

We devised a vintage concept for the infographics used in the opening title.

The old-fashioned styling captures a sense of nostalgia, while successfully connecting it to the present day.

CNBC-e, the finance portal of Turkey continues its journey as NTVpara. With its fast, trustworthy and rich content, NTVpara remains the pinnacle of business news. The news portal includes market data, news, analysis, and commentary from leading economists.

As BONB we were responsible for designing the new look of NTVpara, incorporating ascending and descending arrows inside the letter “a”s to indicate finance. We overhauled the entire branding concept for the channel.

The new design is clear, businesslike and effective, allowing the audience to take in information quickly and clearly.

En Güzel Rotalar (Most Beautiful Destinations) is an NTV program. It explores the world of campers and travelers who make an adventure out of traveling across Turkey to discover the country’s history and nature. 

We were responsible for the design of the full programme package. A challenging part of this project was illustrating a number of scenes shot on green screen, something we relished getting stuck in to.

ACABA (What if?) is a TV series aired by NTV. Every week Levent Erden, Haluk Dursun, Gül İrepoğlu and Hakan Erdem chair a roundtable discussion about history. 

We designed the full program package. The images successfully conveyed the wealth and depth of history​ and were designed to pique the viewer’s curiosity.

We designed the logo, countdown cover and lower-third for the 100 Best Knockouts, a boxing series broadcasted on NTVspor featuring archive footage of the best knockouts of recent times. 

Bold, dark graphics capture the drama and the excitement of a boxing match.

2 Dakikada Sağlık (Health in 2 Minutes) offers practical health tips in 2 minutes to allow people to take charge of their own health, broadcast on NTV. We designed the style frames for the opening title, lower-third and infographics. Here funny and quirky graphics were designed to call grab the viewer’s attention, and the infographics distilled complex information to help people understand their health problems.

Concept and design for the full broadcast package of the program on “Buğdayın Yolculuğu”, the Journey of the Wheat. The designs conjured up a comforting and homely atmosphere, while also placing the food front and centre to whet the audience’s appetite.
